Toyota recalls 105,784 Prius cars to fix transmission, Director (Reuters)

TOKYO (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) said Wednesday that it will recall 105,784 first model Prius cars to the Japan and abroad to correct a fault with the model of direction and speed.

The recall will affect all its first generation Prius cars, which he launched in 1997. At home, the notice covers 47,784 vehicles, with a further 52 000 to the United States. Toyota sold the rest in the United Kingdom and Germany, said a spokesman for the company.

TOKYO - Toyota recalls 106 000 first generation Prius hybrid cars in the world Wednesday for faulty flight caused by a nut who can detach.
