Kindle books surpassing all books printed on Amazon (Y!) (Green)

Amazon has announced that its Kindle e-books are now officially surpassed all printed books, paperbacks and hardcover editions.? For every 100 print books sold, Amazon sells 105 Kindle books, a trend that the company expects to increase the keep.

The new figures do not include free e-books, which would push the ratio of e-books to print those still further, through e-books.? However, the figures include printed books that are not available in a Kindle Edition.

Kindle sales surpassed July 2010 Books hardcover, then sales of paperback books in December 2010 and now they outsell the two combined.? Amazon said that he has already sold three times more than e-books to 2011 as it has done in the same period in 2010.

A study last year by the Group Cleantech found that a Kindle has a lower than printed books imprint, once you replace the purchase of new books of 22.5 by e-books.? Now that Amazon is sold as many e-books, it is clear people reduce their carbon footprint related to read very quickly.
